North Lake Tahoe

Squaw Valley - Squaw Valley is located at the end of a stunning alpine valley cradled by six high Sierra peaks. Squaw Valley is unique among American ski resorts as it offers thousands of acres of open bowl skiing rather than traditional ski trails. Home of the 1960 Winter Olympics, it is well known for its challenging runs.
Alpine Meadows - Alpine Meadows is North Lake Tahoe's premier big mountain resort. It is well known for its hike-to powder bowls, expert tree runs, top to botom groomers and glorious views of lake Tahoe.
Northstar - Northstar is 8610 feet above sea level with 2280 vertical feet of ridges, bowls and tree lined trails and top-to-botom snow making on 50% of the trails. There is a pedestrian village with many restaurants, shopping and bars at the base.
